Hillside Washer

（一）What are Hillside washers?

It is a metal fastener that is usually used in cross arms (crossarms) in electrical fittings to fix bolt supports so that the bolts can remain stable when used at an angle. Or used to connect structural beams or cables.

We can see from the picture that this is just one of the most common installation methods.

（二）What are its structural features?

First, because its bottom is flat, it can make it more stable in the connection and the force is more even. 

Second, because its middle opening is oval, the nut can be adjusted from different angles, so that the built-in bolt can rotate freely, increasing flexibility and facilitating use and adjustment.

Third, the high structural steel material and hot-dip galvanized surface treatment can extend the outdoor service life.

（四) How to choose the right size?

For example, in power fittings, when used to fix support rods or bolts, 

choose a matching size according to the diameter of the rod to be supported. 

For example, washers with diameters from 1/2" to 1-1/4" are available for different sizes of poles.

Make sure the size of the washers you choose will fit the hole or slot in the structure and the maximum angle 

(usually no more than 55 degrees) that the pole will pass through.
