The descripition of the Spiral anti vibration damper

       The damper is capable of supporting the damper and preventing damage or chafing of the conductor during erection or continued operation. The clamp has a smooth and permanent grip to keep the damper in position on the conductor without damaging the strands or causing premature fatigue failure of the conductor under the clamp. The clamp groove is in uniform contact with the conductor over the entire clamping surface except for the rounded edges. The groove of the clamp body and clamp cap is smooth and free from projections, grit, or other materials which could cause damage to the conductor when the clamp is installed. Clamping bolts are provided with self-locking nuts and are designed to prevent corrosion of threads or loosening in service.
