Welcome to Handan Jinmai Power Line Accessories Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
Insulators are important components in power systems that support and fix conductors while ensuring electrical isolation between conductors and between conductors and the ground, there have ceramic insulator, glass insulator, silicone insulator, etc.
Standard Type: what is the basic glass insulators suitable for general transmission and distribution lines, designed to withstand standard electrical stresses and environmental conditions.
Anti-pollution Type: Designed to perform well in polluted environments, these insulators have features that resist the accumulation of contaminants, thus maintaining their insulating properties.
DC Type: Specifically engineered for direct current (DC) transmission lines, these insulators are optimized to handle the unique characteristics of DC currents, such as reduced leakage current and improved voltage distribution.
Aerodynamic Type: designed with aerodynamic considerations to reduce wind pressure and the risk of wind-induced vibrations or galloping.
Out-ribs Type: Featuring an outer rib design, these insulators enhance mechanical strength and provide better resistance to environmental factors.
Ground Wire Type: Used for grounding purposes in electrical systems, designed to handle the high currents that may flow during fault conditions.
And other types, the above two are the most common types, the types with large usage
1.Glass insulator:Tempered glass is used because of its high mechanical strength, good electrical insulation properties, and resistance to weather and environmental conditions, there have many types:u40b,u40bp,u70b,u70bp,u120bp,u160bp.......
2. Ceramic insulator:Ceramic insulators are usually made of materials such as alumina (Al2O3) or silicon dioxide (SiO2), which not only have excellent insulation properties, but also have high melting points and good mechanical strength. They can be made into various shapes and sizes according to the needs of different applications, such as for semiconductor packaging, power transmission lines, radio antennas, spark plugs, heating equipment, fence lines, transformer bushings, etc.
3.Silicone insulator:It is an insulator made of silicone material with excellent insulation performance and high reliability. Silicone insulators provide high tracking resistivity, usually between 3.5 and 6 kV, thanks to the research on ATH (alumina trihydrate) characteristics and surface treatment, while optimizing cost-effectiveness.
When selecting high-quality glass insulators, it's important to consider the application, environmental conditions, and specific technical requirements such as the voltage class, mechanical load, and pollution level the insulator will be subjected to. The insulators should meet international and regional standards such as IEC, GB, BS, ANSI, and AS, or be customized as per customer requirements
