WS type socket clevis

What is WS-type socket clevis?

It is one of socket clevis,as shown in the picture, it is special in shape, with a bowl head shape on the top and an extension head device on the bottom.

Made of steel castings, all iron parts are hot-dip galvanized.

Why is it designed like this?

WS type sockets are connection devices for high-voltage electrical line hardware. It mainly solves the defect that the ball head of the ball head hanging ring is easy to fall off the bowl head hanging plate due to the unreasonable spring lock structure of the existing bowl head hanging plate.

What is it used for？

As an important connection hardware in power grid construction, the horn socket is usually used for the suspension rope and tension rope in the line hardware. It is mainly used to connect the suspension wire clamp with the insulator string, and cooperate with other accessories to complete the connection and insulation of the wire.
